I know not where I read, that writers are often individuals who have nothing in common with the world around them. I'd always associated it with my belief that when you begin writing, perception of the world becomes so different that you are left alone stranded with none to share it with. Only now it dawned upon me that it's very much a reversible process, when you are forsaken by the very world you believed your own, writing becomes a vent.
I'm marooned.

Almost lost the art of lateral thinking. Was supposed to make some creative sketches for a competation ... was starving for ideas. Do you favour out-of-box thinking?
Ofcourse i do, but only have passively admired them in most of the occasions.

I dont know whether the perception of the world becomes "so different" when one starts to write.... but may be a little different..
Think like thinking when not writing while writing.. i hope there would not be so much difference...

When i wrote that the perception of world becomes different, i meant the nuances that escapes one otherwise.. i've also observed in few cases my opinion has changed drastically when i sat down to write about what i think.
Flow of thoughts into writing comes default.

i know ur bdays on the 10th but i'll be busy that day so happy birthday alex ;)
vents are infact required in any room for the inmates to maintain good health.
We construct rooms to live in and ensure that we have control over how much of stimuli we'd like to seep in.. and vent's can be made to close and open......
it's all about getting to control our immediate environment.
things would have been simpler had we stayed the way the trees and the animals stayed.. but somewhere we tried to act smart and sometimes we get to pay a price for that..
